Hey i’m Kevin I’m an illustrator that capture the moment

I’m an illustrator who believes that the world moves too quickly to wait for the perfect photograph. Instead, I capture it as it unfolds — through fast, expressive sketches made right on the spot. My work lives in that space between observation and memory, where a few quick lines can hold the atmosphere of a room, the rhythm of a concert, or the energy of a city street.

Beyond events, I share my passion for urban sketching through teaching. In New York City,
I host classes like Intro to Urban Sketching, where beginners discover the joy of drawing in public, and Zero to Sixty, a month‑long course designed to help anyone build the confidence to sketch anything, anywhere.
I also run free community meetups through the Crayon Club, because I believe drawing should be accessible, social, and fun.
At the core of it all, my goal is simple: to invite people into the practice of looking closely, noticing more, and translating life into lines. Whether through my illustrations, my classes, or a spontaneous sketch shared on social media, I want to show that drawing isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence.
Over the years, I’ve become known as an event sketch artist, documenting everything from private gatherings to large‑scale cultural events.
My approach is rooted in reportage illustration — the practice of telling stories through live, on‑location drawing. It’s a tradition that goes back centuries, but for me, it feels alive and contemporary: a way of slowing down and paying attention in a world that rarely stands still.
